ECF’s SEESII TOOLS:

Ready for a long one folks? This review covers ECF’s club tools from SEESII. It’s a quick review of our additions to our club garage from ‘24-‘26. What started as a spur of the moment buy to test a tool that shared our batteries from Big Blue, ended up into an addiction and loyalty to a new cordless tool supplier and…..hopefully, eventually, hand tool supplier!

I’ll begin with our impact wrenches:

Our 21v WH710:

It came well boxed, in a very nice ABS plastic case with two 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries, a quick charger and the bonus deep sockets. A dead 4.0Ah battery will fully charge in 3 hours or less, according to SEESII. Typically, we see 1.5-2 hour charge times. The batteries usually last through entire brake jobs and other similar projects. Zero complaints and comparable to batteries from the other brands.

The WH710’s fit and finish is “high end”. No blemishes or fit and finish concerns. It has a bright LED and the anvil is smooth and user friendly. No fighting sockets.

This impact has three separate speed settings (up to 3300 IPM and 2400 RPM). The control panel is simple to use and really responsive. This impact has been our steady “go to”. It handles all the tasks we throw at it on busy garage days, when club members get together to do projects, including maintenance and adding of modifications.

The max power rating of the WH710: 665ft lbs (900 Nm) of breakaway (loosening) torque and 579 ft lbs (800 Nm). We’ve more than tested it and honestly, as I said, it’s been our steadfast “beast”. Everyone grabs for it first. It’s strong, dependable and really good looking. It’s fenced our Makita imports, Ryobi One + impacts and even our older Dewalts.

We highly recommend the WH710.

Our WH760:

This wrench is a 21V too. It also came with two 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries and a fast charger too.

The WH760 has maximum speeds of 1,400, 1,800, and 2,400 RPM. More than enough to handle most jobs.

The Max Torque is rated at 738 ft-lbs (1000 Nm) of breakaway torque. It also has approximately 600ft lbs (433Nm) of tightening torque. That’s slightly more than our much loved WH710.

We all love this impact. It’s another capable beast.

Our WH12 Ultra Pro:

This 21v impact is a true animal. Like the others it arrived well appointed with the 4.0Ah batteries, a quick charger, sockets and it was stowed in a great ABS impact resistant case.

The WH12 Ultra Pro looks fantastic. The SEESI blue and orange look insane together! It’s truly really cool looking. The fit and finish is unsurprisingly perfect like the other impacts we’ve picked up from SEESII.

The WH12 has a variable speed control. It is 2 speeds; 0–2,300 or 0–2,400 RPM (revolutions per minute) and can deliver 0–2,200 IPM (impacts per minute). Not bad.

It’s got a seriously strong torque output: It provides up to 885 ft lbs (1200 Nm) of max breakaway torque and 737 ft lbs (1000 Nm) of fastening torque. Needless to say, it’s more than powerful enough to tackle any task during our garage days. No need to drag around air hoses and attachments. Grab this monster, some sockets, a charger battery and go at it!

Like our other impacts, we absolutely love this WH12 and highly recommend it.

Our WH450 3/8” impact wrench. This is our favorite 3/8” cordless impact now. It’s replaced our 3/8” from the big green team completely!

The WH450 is rated at max nut-busting torque of 330 Ft-lb (450Nm). It’s a variable (2spd) intact that’s small and compact. Perfect for a trunk or go bag.

The WH450 arrived no differently than the bigger siblings mentioned above; in a very nice ABS case, two 4.0Ah batteries, a quick charger and some deep sockets. We found it didn’t quite meet the 330ft lbs mark but it had zero issues hitting over 230ft lbs, making it the perfect impact for our Dodge Challengers and Chargers, as well as our VW R-Line “shop car”.

It’s been wonderful. It’s comparable in power to the other two impacts mentioned. For the money, it’s great for someone looking for a compact impact for the trunk or to supplement a nice set of 3/8” impact sockets.

Another great impact backed by a great company. Poor SEESII felt so bad that this one missed the mark that they wanted to replace it. Reality, we love it. As we explained, nothing we do really exceeds the power levels we found when working on our cars. For trucks and larger projects, we’ll use our huge collection of 1/2” impacts. We love our WH450.

Next up from our collection, is our QH220 driver. Yeah, we skipped buying the QH150. Maybe we’ll pick one up, as the QH220 is no where to be found at the moment. It’s strange as the QH220 is significantly stronger than the QH150.

Anyhow, the QH220 is a 21v, variable speed, cordless impact driver. It has been nothing short of fantastic. It’s as strong or stronger than our DTD171, DTD172 and newer DTD173’s by Big Blue. It also bested or beat out our PCL234, PCL235 and ZRPSBID02K2 by The Green Monster. You can’t shake a stick at that.

This little guy handles 162.3ft lbs (220Nm) of nut-busting fury. The strongest by Big Blue? 132.5ft lbs. funny thing, the QH150 is dead on even with the Big Blue’s bad boy driver, the DTD173. The Green Monster? Well, that’s putting out 158.3ft lbs.

My take on all of these drivers? Well, I love all my others, but truly, I now instinctively grab for my SEESII QH220 when I want the job done quickly and in one try. Remember……not to be left unmentioned, these impacts each have similar warranties. As we know, all 3 of these companies offer incredible customer service, but at SEESII….. they are also the most budget friendly. They know the economy is a tough and know their customers appreciate being able to grab quality tools at cheaper prices. Why wouldn’t you want to save money and buy extra tools or items for your dream project? I would….. that’s exactly what made me switch and now my entire club is doing the same!

Back to the QH220. Let’s wrap this up. We highly recommend the QH220. It’s a everyday driver. It handles use and abuse. In its absence, I would consider picking up a QH150. It should be ok. The WH220 has made us happy buyers. Honestly. I wish we could comment further on the QH150 but we haven’t bought one. We wish we bought 2 of the WH220’s before they disappeared for whatever reason but we may consider buying a QH150 as stated. Otherwise, folks from ECF can can use all the other drivers we have from Big Blue and The Green Monster. They are all very capable and durable too.

If I ever decide to buy a QH150, I’ll review it ASAP with long term follow ups. For now I wholeheartedly recommend the QH220.

Next up, I’ll condense….. we have the RT600B regular length (3/8” 21v 66ft lbs/90Nm @ 200RPM) variable speed ratchet, the RT800L extended length (3/8” 12v 40+ft lb/54+Nm @ 220RPM) and the R38 Nova Pro extended length (3/8” 21v 73.76ft lb/100Nm ) variable speed ratchet.

All three of these ratchets have been amazingly accurate. They were bench tested against several of our tried and true torque wrenches from numerous big brand name companies like the big Snappy, that Crafty company, and others. They have been used on several projects, from brake installs, to water pumps, strut braces and other car related modifications. We’ve never been disappointed. Even the 12v RT800L meets its mark every time.

The 4v variable speed cordless screwdriver. A seriously nice kit. Comes in a hard box with numerous bits from Phillips, to flat, to HEX and Torx. It also comes with the charger wire. It’s strong and dependable (4.4ft lbs or 6Nm to 6.6ft lbs or 9Nm). We’ve used it to assemble several new and vintage Tamiya RC’s (yeah, it’s all about cars and trucks of every size) and other hobby projects. What a great little tool. It gets up to 1000 screws on a single charge according to SEESII. As we’ve built several cars with it, at hundreds of screws each, we have zero reason to doubt it. As strong or stronger than our others from Big Blue, The Green Monster and B&D. Great warranty, wonderful customer service and……the cheapest of the bunch. Who can argue a tool with great company backing, more power and a cheaper sticker price?! Just saying.

Now, we’re on to our first foray into SEESII hand tools. Torque wrenches and sockets in particular.

First up, our DH340. Is a 1/2” digital torque wrench. Tested (±1-3%), proven and absolutely incredible service record for ECF. We love this thing. It measures from 12.5 to 250.8ft lbs (17 to 340 Nm) accurately. It came in a really nice ABS, impact resistant box with some sockets, a set of really long lasting (hey, SEESII….. where can I get those? LOL) batteries and an instruction manual, as well as a calibration and certification sheet. Gotta love it. Plus it’s backed by the same SEESII warranty as all other tools! Seriously sweet!!!

The DH360 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” torque wrench set. 72 tooth, 5 degree arc swing, buttery smooth wrenches. Love them. We bench tested each against our big dogs and found them to be within ±1-3% accuracy, when compared to the others. Again, amazement.

Then, there’s our SEESII SQ11-1/2”-22 piece deep socket set. The set is surely comprehensive. It includes metric sizes: 10,11,12,13,14,15,17,19,21,22, and 24. The included SAE sizes are: 5/16", 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16”, 3/4”, 13/16”, 7/8”, 15/16". As I said, quite comprehensive. It covers the most commonly used sizes.

The sockets are forged from crack resistant Chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) and have a great finish. They have really thick 4.5mm walls, to further prevent the risk of cracking. They have bright, large size markings and a nice, bright SEESII blue stripe. They look seriously “upscale”.

What a great way for SEESII to step into the hand tool market. Offering an amazing set of extremely tough, good looking sockets was brilliant. Now, we’re needing 3/8’s and 1/4’s. Dare I mention ratchets and extensions? Surely, we’re going to buy if they are manufactured. I used the 1/2” with my monster HF Big Boy McGr@w 58912. It hands out up to 900ft lbs when used with our 21 gallon 175psi compressor. These crazy thick sockets took all that torque and laughed while pulling off my buddies Dodge 2500 series wheels. They’re extremely stout, to say the least.

Oh, then there’s our SC8B 21v chainsaw. We picked this one up during Hurricane season to cut up some small downed scrub pines, palms and similar small trees. What an impressive work horse. We later picked up the M12 Ace. That thing is a monster of a tree eater. As a matter of fact, we’re so impressed with our two current chainsaws that we’re picking up the P6 Ultra, 6” mini pole saw for trimming those palms and scrub brushes around our club garage.

Oh, let’s not forget our 3-1 T-7 Max. This compact little guy is an inflator, vacuum and emergency light! We’ve used it to fill up tires on bikes, bring car tires to their correct psi, to do a quick vacuum at car shows and as a light while packing up at night to head home from the show. It’s great. We’re still testing, but liking it a lot. We would like to see a blower function added in, but it’s still very cool!

For the future, I think we will need to look into the WH16 for our next visit to the Spring ‘26 Daytona Turkey Run car show at Daytona International Speedway in March. Our older models, although always cleaned before putting away, are getting to show signs of wear. Plus, it would be nice to pick up the WH16 Ultra Pro to show everyone the 1180ft lb (1600Nm) mega-monster, that can handle tasks such as working on large projects/equipment. It would round out the collection.

SEESII says “Yes, you can”……we say: “Yeah, WE CAN!” and with SEESII’s help, WE WILL. There’s no project we won’t try to tackle. We’re now SEESII freaks. There’s no denying it. Our suggestion, go check em out and GO GIT YOU SOME!! You have the DIY dream. They have the tools. Together, you can bring that DIY dream to reality. We have already and we will continue to do so.

SEESII Tools are the real deal folks. We truly torture our tools on garage days. The tools handle the abuse and keep coming back for more. They’re incredibly durable. We can’t recommend them enough. From pricing to the amazing customer service, SEESII is phenomenal.

Incredible.
