Dayton Chapter SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers)

Dayton Chapter SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) The SAE Dayton Section covers a large geographical area of Southwestern and Central Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Anyone is welcome at our meetings.

Major cities include Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington. We have monthly Section meetings from September to June at Cedarville University in Cedarville. These take place on the third Thursday of every month from 5:30-6:30pm, with dinner provided.

This will be a great chance to come out and see some SAE collegiate projects!

Come see our 2023 car alongside Bearcat Electric Vehicle and Bearcat Baja at UC Cars and Coffee on Sunday, April 23rd for its first public showing! We are so excited to show our car to the world for the first time, so much hard work and long hours have went into this year’s car. We cannot wait to see you all there!

A lot of new cars can drive themselves down the middle of a lane and adjust speed to match traffic. Some even let you go hands-free at times. But they all require very close supervision.
