D.L. Upholstery

In 1956 Don's Dad opened up Dick's Auto Upholstery. At a very young age Don began working for his father and in 1986 bought the business from him and renamed it D.L. Upholstery.

The time has come. After 37 years of owning the business and many more working it, Don will officially be retiring. He will be finishing his current work load but is not taking any more appointments.

Thank you all for so much support throughout the years. I may be biased but I think my dad's pretty amazing at what he does. We all know he can't sit still so you can expect to see him at Wishing Pond Events talking to anyone and everyone!

Please be patient with us. Jenny is at the hospital so Don is on his own and not able to answer or call back everyone. Thank you.

We apologize in advance if we aren’t posting as much or a little slower to respond to emails, texts, calls, etc. We are currently going through a family emergency. We have a whole team of people waiting and ready to help at Wishing Pond so everything is in place for all events to continue to run smoothly. We highly appreciate all your understanding and support.

“For those of you who have not heard our grandson Maxwell is in the PICU at Maine Medical Center. Late Monday night he was not feeling well and got progressively worse into the early morning. Jenny and Chris rushed him to MMC. He has Acute Transverse Myelitis which affects the spinal cord. They are running many test to determine the cause and treatment. This picture was taken Monday morning and along with many of the other pictures I’ve posted he is always smiling. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.”

We no longer have walk in hours and are open Monday - Thursday by appointment only.
