We had absolutely no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we bought this business. It has been a HUGE blessing and honestly lots of fun running it as a family…but overwhelmingly time consuming as a family of 5 and both having careers in the medical field outside of it! If we aren’t at the hospital or running a kid to sports, we’re waist deep in the business!
The past 3 months we have lived it. No social life, having to decline any invites, going days or weeks without speaking to people we normally would talk to regularly, the list goes on…
So, we did what we had to do, made some arrangements with the help of some amazing people and got away for a while! A few days in the keys as a family was much needed! It’s easy to get sidetracked and stay grounded.
To those that have felt the effect of all of this, we love and appreciate your support and the busy season will be coming to an end and life will go back to semi-normal ❤️ thanks to everyone for the support!

That newest employee we told you about is just growing and growing! At a little over 6 months old, she’s at 54lbs! We’re still projecting ~110lbs at full grown! She is a huge handful and absolutely exhausting but she knows her size and knows her “kids”. She watches out for them and loves them which is exactly what we got her for! It’s a good feeling knowing Lanier Luxury Boat Rentals family is protected!

A little about us…
We are Lisa and Bj Williams. We live in Dawsonville with our 3 children. Tripp 16, Parker 13 and Bella 11. Bj was born in Alabama and is a HUGE Alabama fan. He grew up in Hall county on Lake Lanier which is a big help when it comes to owning a boating business on Lake Lanier. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran and was one of the first Marine battalions to arrive in Afghanistan September 11th, 2001.
I am Georgia homegrown! I grew up in Winder Georgia and stayed there until I left for nursing school in 2001. Bj and I both work in the medical field. I am a registered nurse and Bj is a MRI technologist.
We currently live on the lake in Dawsonville, which makes operating our business much more smooth! Living on the lake means that at any given time we are easily able to assist anyone that might be renting from us, should they need anything.
We call ourselves, Lanier Luxury Boat Rentals for a reason. The quality of our boats is top priority for us, as well as ensuring all of our boats are as clean as possible! Renting from us is a guaranteed personal experience. Customers have our cell phone numbers, and we typically get to know them by name and a lot about them!
