Be smart! Don't drive where your car can't make it. DOT says it will take up to a week to clear roads in some areas.

(1-14 11:45 am) While things have improved greatly on Iowa roads, there are still trouble spots our crews are working hard to address. It could take up to a week to get the mess cleaned up because ditches are full and high winds will continue to cause drifting snow.

We'll be using snow blowers to move the snow further back away from the road, but this is a slow process. We need your help to stay VERY aware that we'll be out any time of the day or night. SLOW DOWN, use extra caution and pay attention to what's on the road ahead of you.
