📱 Try the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes of screen time, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Your eyes will thank you.
🍓 Hit the farmers market this weekend. Strawberry season is HERE and local produce is the easiest healthy swap there is.
😴 Sleep with the windows open while these nights are still cool. Best sleep of the year, hands down.

Did you know your car has drain holes? Most folks don't — until they find a puddle on their floor mats!
Your sunroof, doors, and the area under your windshield wipers all have small drainage channels that let rainwater escape. When leaves, pine needles, and pollen clog them up (sound familiar, New England?), water finds its way inside instead — leading to soggy carpets, foggy windows, electrical gremlins, and that musty smell nobody can find.
The fix is simple: keep the area under your wipers clear of debris, and have your drains checked at your next visit. It takes us just a few minutes!

🖤🏁 FRIDAY FUN FACT: The Car That Stole the Show 🏁🖤
In 1977, a black and gold Pontiac Trans Am outran every smokey from Texarkana to Atlanta — and drove straight into movie history. Smokey and the Bandit was the #2 movie of the year (only Star Wars beat it!), and honestly... we think the car deserves the credit. 😎
A few things you might not know about the Bandit's ride:
🔧 Those "1977" Trans Ams were actually '76 models dressed up with new front ends — the real '77s weren't off the assembly line yet.
🔧 Pontiac gave the production FOUR of them... and the stunts destroyed every single one. Legend has it the last survivor had to be push-started for its final scenes. (Bandit, buddy — sounds like a starter issue. We could've helped with that. 😂)
🔧 After the movie came out, Trans Am sales nearly DOUBLED. Folks walked into dealerships asking for "the Bandit car" by name.
Almost 50 years later, that black and gold beauty still turns heads at every car show — proof that a great car never goes out of style.

Pete's Garage will be closed for our annual summer vacation from Friday, July 3, 2026 through Sunday, July 12, 2026 so our hardworking team can enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends.
