The first of 4 C6 transmissions to be rebuilt and make it to the dyno here in June. We do get a lot of C6 Transmissions thru the shop.

Transmissions need rebuilding for many reasons. Some have hard parts failure, some burn up clutches and others are just old and nasty. This is a core that had never had its pan removed and surely sat for many years. Once rebuilt it will be ran on the dyno to confirm proper operation.

This is a Ford 4R75E transmission that lost forward gears in a customer's work truck. It was pulled out this morning, disassembled and parts ordered all in the same day. Re assembly will take place after Ford Carlisle and a trip across our dyno before being re installed. More updates to follow next week.
