Friday practice session @ Hallett with CVAR last month In the BRE Z. First time on the track in this car. Fun to drive! Sadly the engine didn't make thru the weekend but will be back with new motor @ COTA and CVAR next February!!

New race car I bought to race in CVAR - Corinthian Vintage Racing - a local group In DFW for vintage racing. Car came from up north but I bought It local. Needed a little body work and I wrapped it in in BRE livery. Did brakes, BRE Libre wheels, new seat belts, radiator and tune up. Did track day Friday. Ran good. Putting on rebuilt SU's today for first race weekend Sept 10th. Another track shake down @ Eagles Canyon Raceway tomorrow

Made some good progress on the 78 280 brake and suspension resto. Car is all original and redid everything on brakes and suspension. Rebuilt calipers, brake booster, brake lines, pads, suspension powder coated, all new bearings, tie rods, diff rebuilt, suspension bushing kit, rebuilt steering rack, shocks and lowering springs . Lots of work but turning out nice!!

A little history on the Datsun Z432 car. The Holy Grail as they say... A 432R sold recently in Japan for almost 800,00.00 US dollars! The 432 name is derived from 4 valves per cylinder, 3 carbs and 2 cams engine. The S-20 straight six was only available in Japan in the Z432 and the original GTR'S. Only about 450 Z432's and 432R's were made
