Well when it comes to excuses for being late on your first day at work I feel this is acceptable! 😂 So first day working at upholstery he tore down some Rolls Royce seats while learning how to install an idler pulley, tensioner, and belt. Also learning doing it yourself is the best.

My nephew starts Thursday for his summer gig. I can’t wait to start teaching him this craft. My dad taught me everything...

My nephew starts Thursday for his summer gig. I can’t wait to start teaching him this craft. My dad taught me everything I know. The reality of how much that is seems overwhelming. I never think there is something I can’t do. He taught many people throughout his time and I know all of you. I always felt special in that he was the hardest on me. I hope I can guide my nephew in a positive direction. You gotta go home with blisters or you didn’t try 😂Any of you that worked for my dad you know!!

Slow and steady wins the race here. This 1951 Jaguar XK 120 OTS repainted black is going to be stellar with the cream colored leather interior. Lots of hand sanded parts! So time consuming but worth the outcome. So grateful to be a part of this project.
