¿Qué mejor manera de aplastar el mito de que los híbridos son lentos que con el bólido TS050 Híbrido? ¡AJÁ!

El TS050 es un vehículo de alta competición el cual cuenta con un motor biturbo gasolina V6 de 2.4 litros con un sistema híbrido de 8 Mega Joulios, una transmisión de 7 velocidades (la cual se utiliza para correr en Le Mans) o de 6 velocidades (para competir en los otros circuitos del World
Endurance Championship, o WEC).

En este 2017 el TS050 ha acumulado ya más de 30,000 km de pruebas, incluyendo 4 pruebas de resistencia de 30 horas continuas (una carrera “normal” tiene una duración de dos horas, y competencias de alta resistencia pueden durar entre 6 a 24 horas).

Estos avances en tecnología híbrida beneficiarán directamente a los clientes de Toyota, sumado al conocimiento adquirido de nuestros ingenieros en otras áreas para seguir creando vehículos cada vez mejores.

Hurricane Otto traveled across Costa Rica in Thanksgiving Day Nov 24th 2016 dumping up to a months worth of rain in just one day, overloading all the rivers and streams in the northern region of the country. After the storm relief efforts began immediately, we are seeing the entire Costa Rican society turning out to help their poor rural fellow citizens. The two towns of Upala & Los Chiles were devastated by Hurricane Otto.
