Hello family and friends of John Eagle Honda of Dallas. It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our dear friend and valued team member, Gumaro Saldaña Almendarez, affectionately known as Marin to his loved ones, and Wamu and “Redneck” to his friends. Gumaro was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on October 17, 2026, on his 41st birthday.
For over 20 years, Gumaro was part of the John Eagle Honda of Dallas family, dedicating his knowledge, skill, and hard work to our team. But beyond being an outstanding automotive technician, he was a friend, a source of laughter, and someone whose personality and playful spirit made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Gumaro had a way of making people laugh, whether through his legendary pranks, his humor, or simply being himself. Those are the memories we will carry with us. Although his time here was far too short, the impact he made over two decades will never be forgotten. He was more than a coworker; he was family, and his absence will be deeply felt throughout our dealership.
During this difficult time, we ask everyone to please keep Gumaro, his family, and all those who loved him in your thoughts and prayers. May God surround them with comfort, strength, and peace as they navigate this heartbreaking loss. May the beautiful memories they shared bring them comfort in the days ahead.
Gumaro, thank you for 20 years of friendship, brotherhood, laughter, dedication, and memories. You may no longer walk through our shop doors, but your spirit will forever remain a part of the John Eagle Honda of Dallas family.
Rest peacefully, our friend. May God welcome you into His eternal kingdom, and may you continue to watch over your loved ones from above. You will be missed more than words can express, and you will never be forgotten.
Rest in Peace, Gumaro. Until we meet again. 🕊️❤️
