From being sold parts they don’t need, to being misled about diagnostics, to outright billing scams — it happens in corner shops and luxury dealerships alike. But here’s the catch: not all of it is done with malicious intent. In a struggling economy, even good mechanics face impossible choices. And in that confusion, it’s hard to know who to trust.
That’s why I founded my automotive service consulting business.
After serving over 17,000 students as College Student Government (Body) President, I transitioned into the automotive industry, where I spent 17 years as a Master Technician working on complex, high-end vehicles. I saw firsthand how both customers and shop staff can feel powerless, confused, and overwhelmed. The result? Broken trust, wasted money, and often, no justice.
I decided to change that.
Since I was elected president, I decided not only serving students on campus but to use my expertise in the automotive industry to make sure they are not taken advantage of. This is how my work as an independent automotive service consultant started— and I’ve already helped over 400 clients successfully resolve disputes with mechanics, shops, and dealerships — all without a single lawsuit. Just fair mediation, clear facts, and a commitment to helping both sides find common ground. I helped the first 200 people free of charge, as a way to just give back to the community.
