Push them in and drive them out. This one sat for many many years. Basically went through everything including Brakes, Fuel system, 12V conversion, Major tune-up and more. It’s ready to hit the streets again. Just something about bringing them back to life.

We got another bug sittin right with a 3in beam, drop spindles, front disc brakes and one notch down in the back.

A little change to the work we’ll be doing.

If you don’t know, I started out working on Classic Air Cooled VW’s 25yrs ago then transfer to the Watercooled VW’s.

Most of my work we do has been general maintenance, custom installs on Classic American cars and some Air Cooled work here and there.

In light of a local Classic VW repair shop closing the doors, I decided to open the doors to taking on the Classic VW repairs for those that may need it.

Always my own cars that give the most trouble. Simple repair that turned into a dash removal. Evaporator was pretty nasty and clogged though. A/C should be blowing ice cubes now.
