🚨 RV Tip Most Owners Forget… Until It’s Too Late 🚨

Your RV water heater requires maintenance, and it’s one of the most commonly overlooked items we see in the field.

This post (pictured) is a perfect example. A full-time RVer recently learned a $1,700 lesson after their water heater failed due to lack of maintenance.

Most RV water heaters need regular flushing and anode rod replacement to prevent sediment buildup and internal corrosion. When that maintenance gets skipped, the tank can deteriorate from the inside out — and at that point, replacement is often the only option.

💡 Recommended Maintenance:
• Flush the water heater every 3–6 months for full-timers
• Check/replace the anode rod annually (or sooner)
• Remove sediment buildup to extend heater life

This simple service can add years to your water heater’s lifespan and save you thousands in unexpected repairs.
