the early 1950s, he moved to Dade City with the Lindsay-Chapman families and was one of the early pioneers of the Dade City trucking industry, haul

ing frozen concentrate orange juice from Pasco Packing to points all over the United States. Ray owned a fleet of trucks leased to Clay Hyder Truckline in Dade City until 1965, when he started Ray' s Used Cars, which is still family owned and operated by his son, John.
