🌎🚐 DAY 5 – VANCOUVER TO MOUNT BAKER 🇨🇦➡️🇺🇸

After a huge night celebrating Australia’s win over Turkey at the FIFA World Cup, it was a slightly slower start to the morning for the crew! ⚽🇦🇺🎉

Once everyone was moving, we headed back from Vancouver to Mount Baker to show Vaughan & Anya one of the most incredible locations we’ve visited so far.

🇨🇦➡️🇺🇸 Getting back across the border into the United States wasn’t quite as easy this time, but after a short delay we were back on the road.

🚐 For the first time on the trip, all four MDCUSA travel trailers travelled together in convoy as we made our way towards Mount Baker.

Along the drive we stopped at a stunning picture-perfect lake before continuing up into the mountains.

🏔️ The views from Mount Baker were absolutely breathtaking. The photos and footage we captured today are easily some of the best content we’ve filmed on the entire trip so far.

📸 Snow-capped peaks, incredible scenery and plenty of laughs made for an unforgettable day.

By the time we returned to camp it was a very late arrival, but after a day like today, it was worth every minute.

🌎🚐 DAY 2 – CALIFORNIA TO OREGON 🇺🇸

After waking up bright and early in Sacramento, California, it was time for another big day behind the wheel as we set our sights on Eugene, Oregon — a massive 470-mile journey north.

☕⛽ The road trip essentials were in full force today… fuel stops, coffee stops, Red Bulls, and repeat! 😂

As we travelled through the incredible countryside, we stumbled across a beautiful lake completely by accident. Looking beyond the water we noticed a stunning snow-capped mountain dominating the horizon.

That mountain turned out to be the legendary Mount Shasta.

🏔️ We couldn’t resist making a slight detour to get a closer look, and it was absolutely worth it. The mountain, the surrounding scenery, and the charming town of Mount Shasta were nothing short of spectacular.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay too long.

With hundreds of miles still ahead of us, it was back on the highway for more driving, more fuel, and yes… more Red Bulls! 😆

As the miles rolled by, we crossed into Oregon and were treated to some incredible scenery along the way. The landscapes continued to impress as we pushed towards our destination.

🚐 Day 2 Destination: Eugene, Oregon

By the end of the day, we rolled into our RV park in Eugene, ready to call it a night after another huge day on the road.

📍 Distance travelled today: 447 miles
⏱️ Driving time: 7.5 hours

Another big day awaits tomorrow as we continue heading north on this incredible adventure.
