Regularly performed maintenance can help prevent costly repairs in the future. This includes engine oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, coolant, differential fluid, transfer case fluid, brake fluid, belts (including timing belt), air filters and spark plugs as well as rotating tires.
Manufacturers have a list of services that should be performed at certain milages but inspected in between for quality and performed if quality is poor regardless of milage.

Nora's biopsy results came back, and it's even better than I expected! They checked for the Monosomy 7 in a few different tests, and every single one came back with it undetected!!!! THE MONOSOMY 7 IS GONE!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 It is such a rare phenomenon that it completely disappears, it's only been reported in a few cases, so her hematologist has reached out to St Judes to see what this means, if it can come back or if it's gone for good. Her hematologist and I are under the impression that the transient part meant it could fluctuate and bounce around from 1%-99%, and that if it went to 100% it has completely taken over and will never go away and it's time for a transplant. And that if it completely goes away, then it'll never come back. The rescue gene is present in her marrow in small amounts, but it is there!! The rest of the results came back better than they previously have. Some are in the normal range, but even the ones that are still abnormal have improved. Based on the biopsy results they are not sure why her numbers are so out of whack, as nothing abnormally concerning was found.
Additionally, her platelets went up on their own for the first time!! They had dropped from 45k a few days after the IVIG to 27k on Saturday, a week and a half after the IVIG treatment. Tuesday we did labs and they went up to 31k. They are still low but this is the first time they have gone up without a current treatment!

Giving a little Nora update!

Monday she had labs and unfortunately her levels have dropped once again. We briefly talked with the doctor from St Judes Friday evening and he recommended a course of steroids as they think these issues may be caused by inflammation in the bone marrow due to her mutation, not a virus. Unfortunately our conference call to discuss the results in depth from our visit in October had to be rescheduled as the doctor had to fly out of state last minute, so I'm just grateful that he took the time to call (he called from the airport even!) and see how she is doing.
We started the course of steroids yesterday, and have labs again on Friday to see if the levels have gone up. Hopefully they have gone up and will stay up even after the course of steroids is done! 🤞🙏

We are going home!! All her levels are slowly trending up which wouldn't be caused by the IVIG as that is for platelets so they are leaning towards she is fighting some sort of virus that caused her levels to drop so much and she's getting over it. Going to go home and closely monitor with labs locally and follow up with her hematologist next week as long as there's no signs of them dropping.

Hey guys, Sam here! I am currently out of office and thought I'd give an update.
As some of you know, my daughter Nora has a genetic condition that affects how her bone marrow produces cells, her levels run a bit lower than average, especially her platelets. We had seen some physical signs of abnormally low levels and brought her to the hospital, where they admitted her after finding her platelets to be dangerously low. They are unsure of the exact cause of why the levels have dropped so dramatically. They are leaning towards an auto-immune attack on the platelets called ITP, but need to do further testing to verify there's no other cause.
Prayers for a speedy recovery are appreciated! ❤️

Please be patient with the guys at the shop during this difficult time without me there to boss them around 😉😂

The lemon on the shop tree is getting pretty yellow!! Soon it'll be ready!
The tree lost a lot of its leaves after it flowered this last time and has 6 baby lemons. I think it is putting all of its nutrients towards the lemons, not the leaves.
