Stealth PPF 🥷
A great option for changing the entire look and feel of your vehicle without changing the color! PPF is noticeably thicker and offers more protection than color change vinyl, and most clients go for it when they want their car to stand out while still getting all of the same benefits from gloss PPF.

If the paint has metallic flake in it? Well, that’s even better!

It’s been too long since I last posted, we’ve been positively slammed with work! Here are some of the culprits, America’s finest.

This Corvette got the attention and care it deserved the first time around! Aside from some razor marks from the last job, everything was reversible and cleaned up quite well.
There’s no such thing as a perfect install, yes that includes us. Yes we have had flaws in the past that we have had to fix, and we have fixed them. Let me go ahead and get that out of the way. However, when this client brought me the car initially he said something just felt off about the PPF work and he wanted a second opinion.

I told him that it wasn’t the worst I’d ever seen, and since he didn’t come out of pocket for it, he could leave it as is if he could live with the flaws. He decided he couldn’t, so we got this taken care of for him.

Being obsessive about PPF is expensive, sometimes it means redoing pieces, customizing patterns, spending hours on prep, chasing out debris, the list goes on. But it means we have a result we can stand behind, and that the client will love.

Lifting edges, excessive debris, misaligned panels, razor marks on your paint…this isn’t just “normal” or “cost of doing business.” You should rightfully be skeptical of a service provider who tries to tell you otherwise. Have a conversation with your service provider to make sure the job you expect is the job you get!

You hear people talk about quality this, quality that. No shop is going to tell you “we cut corners and skip steps to deliver a mediocre install” even if that’s what they ultimately do. What someone says is not nearly as important as what they can show. What does a bad PPF job look like? Well, this is it!

The Porsche 911 is not an easy car to get your hands on these days. The higher you go up the 911 trim ladder, the more difficult it becomes. But the Club Coupe? Lottery only. No dealer politics, no games, no bogus. Pure luck. This is not some quick flip or a simple flex piece, this client has been dreaming of a 911 since his adolescence and decided life was too short not to at least try to win the allocation. Well, he did. He didn’t have a lengthy purchase history, this was his first 911 ever. To me, that makes the whole story even better.

He wanted to look after his pride and joy so we protected the entire car with PPF and coated the rest. Now he can enjoy the dream with peace of mind.

This is without a doubt the question I get asked the most. PPF or ceramic, which one? What’s the difference? Hopefully this clears it up so you can make the right choice for your needs.

Is PPF worth the investment? I’ll let you be the judge. The owner of the Z06 didn’t do anything wrong, and thankfully because of the PPF he didn’t pay the price for it.

Every shop only uses the best quality products, and every shop is amazing at what they do…just look at their websites and you’ll see. But if that’s the case, why do we all know someone who has had a bad experience with a shop in this industry?

There’s no perfect science to avoiding issues entirely when it comes to these in depth services, there’s always an element of trust between the customer and the service provider. With that being said, there are almost always some clues that tell you what sort of experience you might have.

Didn’t expect to work on something like this, but I’m glad we did. Haven’t had to break out a proper ladder until this project, even with some of the lifted F-250s we’ve had in here.

Now this client can take care of his giant custom van with ease thanks to a fresh Ceramic Coating from our friends at CCI.
