I named the shop after my grandfather's dealership located in Kansas in the 1920s. I always hoped to find some signage of some type. I recently was going through some of my late father's things and found this newspaper ad.

Ford 4 cylinder ecoboost engines have a propensity for headgasket issues. If you start losing coolant and have cold start misfires, you could have a serious problem. These engines are found is explorers, escapes, focus, mustang, edge and others. 1.5, 1.6, 1.8 amd 2.3. The block has a slice cut in it between the cylinders. This leaves only a small space for gasket sealing. This block has metal loss in that area since they drove it too long with a leaking headgasket. We are having to replace block which has been updated and doesnt have this sloce cut in it.

6.2 escalade dropped a valve with no warning at 111k. It destroyed the engine. We have seen a few broken valve springs on these, but this is the first time we've seen the valve fall into the cylinder. It was well maintained, sucks for the owner. He opted for a gm crate engine since the warranty is noce and the used ones are ridiculously expensive.

3.6 pentastar engine found in jeeps, rams, and chrysler vehicles. They come into the shop "ticking." In many cases we end up just replacing some of the roller rocker arms. The bearings in the rollers wear out. But occasionally we find the camshafts damaged by the seized up roller rockers. The first picture is a good camshaft lobe. The other pictures are bad! This truck has only 97k on it.

Chevrolet avalanche, engine warranty came through for this guy. 4 and a half years ago and 75k miles ago he had a reman motor installed. He paid extra for a 5 year warranty. With this video we were able to get him another motor under warranty!
