💧 A small leak can lead to a big repair.

This 4-year-old camper came to us because the floor in the slide had become soft. After digging into the problem, we found the cause: the slide windows were never properly sealed at the factory.

Over time, rainwater worked its way past the unsealed windows, soaking the floor until the wood failed. By the time the floor feels soft under your feet, the damage underneath has usually been happening for quite a while.

Our repair included removing the damaged flooring, replacing the rotten wood, reinforcing the slide floor, and properly sealing the windows to help prevent the problem from returning.

If you've noticed:
✔️ A soft or spongy floor
✔️ Water stains around windows
✔️ Musty odors
✔️ Signs of water intrusion

Don't wait. Catching a leak early can save thousands in repairs.

💧 Is Your RV Roof Leaking... Just a Little?

That small water stain or tiny drip could be hiding a much bigger problem.

Water often travels before it shows itself, soaking insulation, rotting wood, damaging walls, and creating costly repairs long before you notice it.

The sooner you address a roof leak, the better your chances of avoiding thousands of dollars in structural damage.

At Texas RV Service, we specialize in finding the source of leaks and repairing them the right way—so you can get back to enjoying your RV with confidence.

Don't wait until "a little leak" becomes a major rebuild.

❄️ Think your RV A/C has quit? It might just need a good cleaning! ❄️

We recently performed a mobile service call for a customer whose RV air conditioner was no longer blowing cold air.

The culprit? A completely clogged evaporator coil.

As you can see from the photos, years of dirt, dust, and debris had almost completely blocked airflow. With the coil plugged up, the A/C couldn't transfer heat efficiently, making it seem like the unit had failed.

The good news? A thorough professional cleaning restored the airflow and brought the cold air back—without replacing the air conditioner.

Regular A/C maintenance can:
✅ Improve cooling performance
✅ Increase airflow
✅ Reduce stress on the compressor and blower motor
✅ Lower power consumption
✅ Help prevent costly repairs

Best of all, we came to the customer, saving them the hassle of bringing their RV to a shop.

If your RV A/C isn't keeping you cool, Texas RV Service offers mobile A/C cleaning and repairs to help get you back to enjoying your RV.

⚡ Vacation almost delayed... but we got them back on the road! 🚐

One of our customers was getting ready to leave on vacation when their inverter/charger suddenly failed, leaving them without reliable 120-volt power and battery charging.

Our team quickly diagnosed the problem, removed the failed unit, and installed a new Xantrex PRO inverter/charger to get everything working again before their trip.

There's nothing worse than having RV problems right before a vacation. That's why we do everything we can to get our customers back on the road as quickly as possible.

If your RV has electrical issues, charging problems, or inverter trouble, give Texas RV Service a call. We'll help you get your RV ready for your next adventure.

Some RVs come in needing a simple repair. Others need just about everything.

This RV arrived with multiple issues: the A/C wasn't cooling, the slide topper awnings were worn out, there were water leaks that needed tracked down and repaired, furniture that needed attention, and several items that had broken loose from the roof.

Our job is to take an RV that has become frustrating to own and get it back to being reliable and enjoyable again. One repair at a time, that's exactly what we're doing with this one.

If your RV has a growing list of problems you've been putting off, give Texas RV Service a call. We handle everything from roof repairs and water leaks to appliances, awnings, slide-outs, electrical systems, and more.

Texas RV Service has continued to stay busy. Late last week we completed another round of repairs and upgrades including:

✔️ Full axle service
✔️ Installed new tires
✔️ Rebuilt a gray tank valve after finding out replacement parts are no longer available
✔️ Added structural supports to help prevent camper wall sagging

Not every repair has an off-the-shelf solution, and sometimes keeping an RV on the road means rebuilding, fabricating, and fixing problems others might overlook.

If your RV needs maintenance, repairs, or problem-solving service work, give Texas RV Service a call at 469-532-2267.

Busy day at Texas RV Service.

Today started with an emergency roadside service call to secure a damaged piece that was dragging on the highway on one camper. After getting that customer safely back on the road, we worked on another camper in the shop completing:

✅ Axle service
✅ Installed a new entry assist handle
✅ Replaced damaged stabilizers
✅ Installed an Equal-i-zer hitch system

No two days are ever the same around here, but keeping RV owners safe and road-ready is always the goal.

When it rains outside… it shouldn’t rain inside your RV.

We had a camper come in with water getting in every time it rained. The issue wasn’t just a seal—it was structural. The slide-out had sagged nearly an inch in the middle due to the original all-wood construction.

That sag created a gap, and that’s all water needs.

We corrected the structure and reinforced the slide with angle iron to create a permanent fix—not just a temporary patch.

Now it’s solid, sealed, and ready for many more trips without worrying about leaks.

If you’ve got soft spots, sagging, or leaks—don’t wait. Structural problems only get worse.

That small roof leak can turn into a big problem fast.

We recently took in a Class C RV with a dime-sized hole in the roof—but underneath, the wood base had already started to deteriorate. Our team removed the damaged material, restored the wood structure, and sealed the roof back up the right way.

Now this RV is solid again and ready for many more camping seasons.

If you’ve noticed soft spots, leaks, or roof damage, don’t wait—catching it early saves you thousands.
