When Ugo Tagliaferri first drove this Ferrari 275 GTB through the streets of Rome in 1965, it must have looked like something from another planet. You can almost hear the buzzing chaos of the Via del Corso; the Vespas, Apes and Topolinos beeping their horns and jostling for position while cutting through the evening traffic.

And then this streamlined Grigio creation sloping into view, a hand-formed vision seemingly from another world, the sound of its triple-Weber-fed V-12 reverberating around the ancient streets, turning every head as it powers by.

Sixty years may have passed since then, but the Ferrari 275 GTB has lost none of its magic. In fact, its story has only got more interesting.

Following a chain of ownership that saw the car driven everywhere from Switzerland to the United States the car was eventually sent to Ferrari Classiche for inspection, where technicians discovered something truly fascinating. While the car was found to retain its original chassis, engine, and bodywork, experts at Maranello discovered something very unusual with its gearbox.

It wasn’t original. But that’s where the story gets really interesting. Instead of a standard gearbox, the Ferrari was found to be fitted with a competition-specification Type 563 Elektron transaxle with a magnesium case—the sort of item reserved only for Maranello’s most rare and specialised competition variants.

After cross referencing the numbers, the gearbox was found to have come from a very famous 275 GTB Competizione Speciale—the very ex-works car that took on the 1965 Targa Florio and Nürburgring 1000 km. It would later finish 3rd overall and 1st in class at the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans under the Ecurie Francorchamps banner.

Perhaps most interestingly, Ferrari’s experts believed that the gearbox was fitted to the car in period. It was subsequently awarded Ferrari Classiche certification along with its coveted Red Book.

The sole 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV finished in Ad Personam Marrone Eklipsis is currently on display with Sealed at The Portola Hotel, Monterey.

Chassis 4015 is one of just five known LP 670-4 SVs equipped with Lamborghini’s six-speed gated manual transmission, the only example finished in the firm’s historic shade of Marrone Eklipsis, and is believed to be the final manual V-12 Lamborghini to ever leave Sant’Agata Bolognese.

With its spectacular colour configuration, rare Low Drag Rear wing, and desirable LP-640 seats, this car is arguably the world’s most sought-after Lamborghini.

This is the real thing: an original BMW Team Bigazzi Group A car, later developed to full DTM specification and raced in period by Touring Car legend Steve Soper. More recently, it has continued to prove its pedigree, taking outright victory at the 2023 Donington Historic Festival in the hands of four-time BTCC champion and BMW devotee Colin Turkington.

Finished in a sinister yet elegant combination of Nero Stellato over Rosso leather, this Ferrari Monza SP2 is a striking example of one of Ferrari’s most beautiful modern designs. Its livery features a Rosso Corsa stripe with Bianco King pinstriping, carried from the bonnet to the speedster hump, and echoed throughout the interior. FOR SALE: 1974 Lancia Beta Coupé Group 4 🏷️

Following Fiat’s acquisition of Lancia, the Beta Coupé was introduced in 1973 to replace the aging Fulvia and boost mainstream appeal. This example, chassis 1050, was one of the earliest prepared by Lancia Works for Group 3 rallying, later upgraded to Group 4 with distinctive wide arches and dashboard. Driven extensively by notable teams and drivers, it competed in over a dozen events between 1974 and 1980, retaining its striking Beretta-Lecco livery to this day.

After decades in private collections, the car was fully restored and recommissioned in 2024 by Autoelite for the Modena Cento Ore, including an engine rebuild and modern safety upgrades. With eligibility for premier historic events like Tour Auto and the FIA Historic Rally Championship, this Lancia offers a rare blend of originality and race-ready performance. A true survivor of 1970s rally heritage, it remains one of the most significant early Group 4 Beta Coupés in existence.
