We finally got some much needed rain, just wish it would rain for about 3 days; not heavy, just a nice soaker. Nice to see everyone back and welcome to our new "Roosters"!

Good afternoon, Roosters!

We have started our busy winter season and would like to welcome back some of our "old" roosters - Trudy & Dave, Gary, Sandy & Bert, Jackie & Joe, Marlyn & Jim, Brenda & Randy, Richard, Linda & Paul, Mary & Dennis, Linda & Peter, Shirley & Cal, Pat & Galen, Sharon & Daryl, Lois & Ron and Victor. It is good to have you all back and we look forward to seeing the rest of your "friendly faces" before long.

Also we have some new people in the park and would like to welcome them as well. Cynthia & Derek, Sandy & Tom, Pete, Dianna & Lonnie, Deb & Craig, Debra & Daniel, Mary Lou & Art, Cynthia & Robert, Claire & Ed, Steve and Kristin & Kevin.

We are looking forward to a fantastic winter and so glad you are with us for the season and hope you enjoy your stay. I will try to keep this updated as our people arrive.

Well it is official - we had 4-1/2 inches of rain yesterday, lost cable and WiFi. WiFi back up and running (thanks Tony) and cable has been reported for second time!! Hopefully won't be out much longer! That was a serious storm with lots of lightening and thunder!!

Good afternoon - just had a whopper of a storm - lots and lots of lightening and loud thunder!! Pool is just about to run over so had a lot of rain and aha I hear more thunder so guess it is not done with us yet!!

News from the Roost: the sun rises, the sun sets, and occasionally it rains! Watching the tropics now to see what's going to happen...looks like landfall right here in Crystal River. Not to worry, Doug says! Keep you posted. Guys have been working diligently in this heat...so hot and muggy. For all you shuffleboarders out there, Chuck and Tony have been making improvements... you be the judge! Park's been fuller this summer than any summer we can remember. People love it here, even in the heat!! Guys do a great job in keeping us looking great!
