Mike, Leo and Kevin traveled to southern Illinois last week to recover two DeLoreans for a customer of ours. What they found was two of the dirtiest DeLoreans we’ve seen to date! The journey and story were epic and worthy of sharing. It was all captured in the in the video below. We hope you enjoy this as much as we have. We look forward to to getting these cars back on the road.

New arrival all the way from Sumas, WA. 1982 DeLorean with Grey interior, manual transmission and 19k miles.

This DeLorean has been in the same family since new. Rescued from a barn in Southern IL yesterday and hauled in for restoration.

Pleasure to be working on this 4,715 mile DeLorean. Well preserved car with internal damage from previous repairs. Sitting for decades. Will be back on the road this week.

What we found. Damage to both heads at intake ports from prying? Drilled oversize cam keeper. Cylinder 1 and 2 have pitted liners and stuck Pistons. Pistons 4 5 and 6 out of time and kissed the valves.
