Hybrid Turbo World Record — 9.28 @ 147 MPH

Congratulations to Michael and the entire DH Automotive team on an incredible weekend and a huge accomplishment for the MQB Volkswagen/Audi community! This ET is also the Audi S3 8v World Record.

At the heart of the combination is our Precision Turbo Stage 2 MQB Factory Upgrade Turbocharger, featuring a 56mm Next GEN compressor wheel in a fully bolt-on package boosting its EA888 GEN 3 engine.

The goal of this turbo has always been simple: deliver serious performance while retaining the convenience and fitment of a factory-upgrade solution. Running a 9.28 shows just how far this platform—and a properly engineered hybrid turbo—can be pushed.

3,600 lb parts delivery truck running 8s

Owned by Kameron McConchie of Fat Boyz Kustomz, this truck has a pretty cool story behind it. It was originally won after taking the victory at the first Cleetus McFarland Danger Ranger race. After the original 3.0L eventually gave up, Kameron and the team decided it was time to turn the parts truck into something a little more serious.

The setup is built around an L33 aluminum block with:

• K1 stock-stroke crank
• Boostline rods
• Wiseco pistons
• Mast Black Label heads ported by Ryan Mueller
• Shearer Fab intake
• Accurate Transmission-built full manual 4L80
• Quick Performance 9-inch rear end
• Mono-leaf rear suspension
• Viking shocks

Providing the boost is an OG Precision Turbo 90/104.

So far, the truck has laid down a best of 8.50 @ 151 MPH and finished runner-up at Sick Summer 2026. The next goals are to keep hitting no-prep events and make it into Sick Week 2027.

Not bad for what Kameron calls a “basic cookie-cutter recipe” in a leaf-spring parts delivery truck.

NEW RADIAL VL RECORD — 6.30 @ 220 MPH.

Maatouks Racing has claimed the new Radial VL record with their Precision Turbo Pro Mod Powered VL, running an impressive 6.30 @ 220 MPH while getting out of it before the finish line.

The team is still getting a feel for the radial setup, with the ultimate goal of pushing the VL into the 5-second zone.

AUSTRALIAN NIssan SR20 Record — 6.41 @ 211 MPH. 🇦🇺

The Australian team at Pro-Tek Automotive had a great night of testing, resetting the Australian SR20 record with an impressive 6.41 @ 211 MPH in their Precision Turbo PROMOD equipped Silvia S15.

With the program continuing to improve and some adjustments still to come, the team is already looking forward to getting back on track and pushing the SR20 platform even further.

NEW GT-R WORLD RECORD — 6.36 @ 225 MPH. 🏆

Croydon Racing has once again achieved the Skyline GT-R World Record, this time with George’s “JSVSKI,” equipped with a Precision Turbo Next Gen Pro Mod. Driven by Rob Marjan, JSVSKI achieved the team’s goal of becoming the quickest and fastest Skyline GT-R in the world with a 6.36 @ 225 MPH. The program is still in development, and the team expects the GT-R to go even quicker.
