Scott Winningham Memorial Truck and Tractor Pull Raises $10,000 Each for CCHS and SMHS FFA

Great weather and tremendous community support led to a huge crowd at the Scott Winningham Memorial Truck and Tractor Pull in May. As a result, Gary and Kristie Winningham were able to donate $10,000 each to Cumberland County High School and Stone Memorial High School FFA organizations in Scott’s memory. The goal for next year is to break this year’s fundraising record and make the annual Scott Winningham Memorial Truck and Tractor Pull THE pulling event in Tennessee.

We met our goal. The first year we had the Memorial Pull, we wanted to be able to give each high school $10,000. We came up short, but were still able to give a nice pay day. Last year we were closer at $6000,but it still wasn't the goal we were after. This year was different. We had the best weather we could possibly have and the best community support you could hope for, and the end result $10,000 paid to each high school! Thank you to everyone that helped make this possible. Sponsors, friends, vendors, and pullers who showed up to help. This is definitely a team effort and would not be possible without the outpouring of help. Hopefully next year, we break this record.

Congratulations to Gerald Stout. He was the winner of the trip for five to go offshore fishing with Goingdeepswfl Fishing Charters 🎣 and former UFC ChampionTito Ortiz. THANK YOU is all we can say. This year's 3rd Annual pull was the best we have had so far. I could not have bought better weather. I could not have asked for a better crowd. And, I could not have asked for better help to put this event on. From the outpouring of hard work and dedication friends,family,sponsors,schools, and some I am sure I am missing, THANK YOU. We had the weekend go without a hitch. We said all along that we wanted to make this THE pulling event in Tennessee, and we are making headway. We are blessed to have our community behind us. Thank you is all I can say.
