A-List Driving School strives for excellence in all our programs and is certified by the Maryland Vehicle Administration to present the Driver Education Program which includes 30 hours of classroom instruction followed by 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and evaluation. Our program is designed to work closely with the parents and guardians to coordinate and supplement the needs for the new

driver. The personal safety of our students while driving or riding as a passenger on the highways of today is our top priority. We also emphasize their part in and responsibility for the safety of pedestrians and other vehicle operators. The course consists of two parts: a classroom portion, and an in-car driving portion. Students may take the classroom portion without a learner's permit, and then return for the on-the-road training after they have obtained their permit.

Towson University Student Nasir Majied, 22, Killed in Suspected Road-Rage Shooting

Nasir Majied, a 22-year-old Towson University undergraduate, was fatally shot in a suspected road-rage incident along York Road just before the traffic circle on Friday, June 5.

The shooting occurred around 3:20 p.m. as Majied drove north on his Kia with no passengers. A suspect in a separate vehicle also traveling northbound fired multiple shots, striking Majied. Officers from Precinct 6-Towson arrived within two minutes and provided aid, but Majied was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Towson University President Mark Ginsberg announced the death Saturday, calling it a "devastating loss" for the university community. "It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I share news that Nasir Majied, a 22-year-old Towson University student, tragically lost his life in an off-campus shooting Friday afternoon," Ginsberg wrote.

Baltimore County Homicide detectives are investigating the motive and pursuing leads to identify the suspect, who fled northbound after the shooting. No arrests have been made. Police are not ruling out road rage but said any relationship between the shooter and victim remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact detectives at 410-887-4636.
