We finished installing the new headliner, carpet, and seat covers on the 69 Mustang Coupe. Today our glass expert Chantos from 101 Auto Glass installed a new Carlite windshield and the original rear glass.

69 Mustang Coupe A/C Install Update! They don't make reproduction center vents for the 69-70 Mustangs, and the NOS/used ones are very expensive when you find them. Since we aren't Kindig Design and don't have fancy 3D printers we employed old school methods to fabricate a functional center vent. They also don't make A/C kits for the 250 six-cylinder cars so we had to do some modifications to the compressor bracket for a 200 six set up.

The 64 Comet is finished and ready to go home. We replaced the fuel pump, installed a Holley Street Warrior carburetor, installed Scott Drake aluminum valve covers with Comet script, and repainted the top of the engine while everything was off.

Progress on the 69 Mustang Coupe! The Windshield and back window have been removed. The old furry slip-on seat covers, worn floor mats, and years of old trash were cleaned out by Paige. The dash pad had to be cut out due to stripped screw heads and the seats are out. Next up master mechanic Ken will start installing the A/C unit from Old Air Products and I will start on the seat upholstery.

Progress continues on the 69 Mustang Coupe! The speaker holes in the doors have been patched and the hinge bushings repaired. The new side mirrors were installed, and our glass expert will be in this coming week to glue the door glass back into the tracks. He will also remove the windshield and rear glass so we can install the new headliner. Next after that we'll remove the dash for the Old Air Products A/C installation.

The 65 Mustang Coupe is ready to go home and will be picked up next week. We fit and installed the new hood, deck lid, and quarterpanel extensions. Since it will be another year before we get the car back for complete body and paint, we shot some color over the fiberglass to protect it. The owner selected Caspian Blue to see if he likes it for the final product, I know I like it and the rear spoiler gives the car a more aggressive look!
