MEET THE TEAM: TODD

We’ve introduced the owners, the service advisor and the technician… but there’s one more guy who helps keep the wheels turning around here—sometimes literally.

Meet Todd, our resident “whatever needs doing” guy.

Trying to give Todd an official job title is a little difficult because on any given day you might find him driving the shuttle, changing oil, working on tires, completing a DVI, helping in the bays, or jumping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed.

And if none of those things are happening, there’s a pretty good chance he’s talking to somebody.

Todd is our conversationalist. Whether he's giving a client a ride home in the shuttle or working alongside the guys, he has a way of making people feel comfortable—and he's usually got a story to tell along the way.

But don't let the easygoing personality fool you. Todd is knowledgeable, dependable, observant, and somehow manages to help keep the rest of us on track. Every shop needs that person who notices what needs to happen and just… does it.

Before joining our crew, Todd had a slightly different mode of transportation.

He flew helicopters and airplanes in the United States Navy. 🇺🇸

So yes, the guy giving you a ride home while we work on your car used to fly military aircraft.

We feel like the shuttle may be a slight downgrade.

Todd may not have one specific title at Rock's, but that's because one title wouldn't really cover it.

He's the shuttle driver, extra set of hands, tire guy, oil-change guy, inspector, conversationalist, voice of reason and keeper-on-tracker all rolled into one.

And we're pretty lucky to have him.

Meet Todd—the guy who goes wherever he's needed and helps keep Rock's moving in the right direction.

MEET THE TEAM: JAKE

If you’ve been to Rock’s, you probably recognize the mechanic with the long, wild hair. Yep—that’s Jake. And while the hair may get your attention first, there’s a whole lot of knowledge underneath it.

Jake has been around the automotive industry his entire life and decided early on to turn that experience into a career. He graduated from the automotive program at Louisiana Technical College and has continued building on that foundation ever since.

He holds multiple ASE certifications, along with EPA Section 609 certification, and has completed numerous additional automotive training courses over the years.

But one of our favorite things about Jake is that he genuinely loves to learn.

Automotive technology never stops changing, and neither can a good technician. Jake is constantly sharpening his skills, learning new systems and finding better ways to test, diagnose and repair the vehicles entrusted to him.

And when he's not under a hood?

There's a completely different side of Jake.
He's a musician.
And we're not talking about occasionally strumming a guitar in the garage. Jake has actually performed in front of 35,000 PEOPLE at the Cajundome.

Which means apparently working at Rock's is actually one of his smaller audiences.

Around the shop, Jake brings a great combination of technical knowledge, curiosity, personality and just enough unpredictability to keep things entertaining.

He's also living proof of something we believe strongly at Rock's: a great technician never stops being a student.

So next time you see that unmistakable head of hair sticking out from underneath a hood...
