Tonight’s the night! 🎶🚗🍔

It’s time for the monthly Covington Block Party & Car Show in beautiful downtown Covington!

Come check out the cool cars, stroll through the Art Alley, grab a drink, enjoy some great local food, and soak up everything that makes this community so special.

There’s just something about warm Louisiana evenings, classic cars, local businesses, live music, and seeing familiar faces downtown ❤️

We love being part of this community and hope to see y’all out there tonight!

We got a package this week all the way from our friends at Mark’s Auto Repair in Washington State… and y’all, we were like kids on Christmas morning 😄📦

Inside were local goodies, coffee, shirts, bags, and a whole bunch of thoughtfulness that absolutely made our day.

But let’s be honest… the thing Rock was MOST excited about was the Washington license plate for his collection 😂🗺️

Moments like this are a reminder that this industry is bigger than fixing cars. It’s friendships, support, shared experiences, and people all across the country who genuinely care about each other.

We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity from the Mark’s Auto Repair crew. Thank y’all for thinking of us way down here in Louisiana ❤️

Now excuse Rock while he proudly finds the perfect spot for that license plate 😎

🔧 Whatcha Workin’ On Wednesday 🔧

If you’ve ever wondered why some A/C repairs cost more than expected… here’s a little behind-the-scenes look 👀😅

To fix the air conditioning on this F350, the dash had to come completely apart. And when we say completely apart… we mean it looked like this truck exploded on the inside 😬

Modern vehicles pack a LOT behind the dashboard—wiring, electronics, ductwork, modules, airbags, and more. Sometimes reaching one failed component means carefully removing half the interior to get there.

Not exactly a “quick little fix.” 😅

But with Louisiana heat rolling in, cold A/C isn’t really optional around here ☀️🔥

Y’all asked for faster shuttle service… so we may have gone a little overboard 😅✈️

At Rock’s, we know life doesn’t slow down just because your vehicle needs service. You’ve got work, school pickups, practices, appointments, and about 37 other places to be.

So we’re always looking for ways to make auto repair less stressful and more convenient.

Did we actually buy a plane?
No.
Did we seriously consider it for a minute?
Also no… probably 👀😂

All jokes aside, we do offer shuttle service, after-hours drop-off/pick-up, and a team that works hard to help keep your day moving while your vehicle is with us.

Until then… boarding for Gate Rock’s begins now ✈️🔧

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙

Because of their sacrifice, we have the freedom to spend time with our families, travel the roads we love, and enjoy moments that matter most.

We are deeply grateful for those who served and for the families who carry their memory every day.

In observance of Memorial Day, Rock’s Tire & Auto will be closed Monday, May 25th so our team can spend time with loved ones and reflect on the meaning of the day.

We will reopen Tuesday morning.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.
