Last week we had a 18 year old super duty that rolled in. It was neglected by its previous owner and never serviced. This customer contacted me with the hopes that I could salvage his investment that he had just purchased and rebuild this 2 decade old lift and suspension system.
My answer absolutely!! I dug right in! Ended up cutting or air hammering out every bolt on this thing! Zero anti sieze was ever applied in 2008 and it became more than just a job and more like a Challenge!
Once the 4 link was off I stepped into my next hurdle and that was removing the snap rings to get the Uniballs out.
Here is the step by step process of what I did to remove all 4 snap rings from each arm.
After cleaning, prepping, rebuilding and properly re installing everything! This truck drove like a dream!
I was very impressed and honestly very satisfied with the end result.
