This was a weird scenario, a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse would not shift into reverse, tires were screeching and jerking, the ABS, Stabilitrak and check engine lights all came on.

This vehicle’s battery was so bad that the voltage to the TCM was too weak and sent the transmission into limp mode, a brand new AGM battery fixed all of the issues.
This was the original battery (2018) 😳
Today’s battery systems are very complex, not your typical 2 post simple terminal system.

A 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT new water pump, new coolant and a new belt tensioner.
The water pump was leaking and the impeller was very rusted, wobbling and kicking the belt off making a grinding noise.

A 2006 Toyota Camry had a grinding noise, after my inspection of removing the water pump pulley I found the water pump leaking and the impeller was loose causing the noise.
The pink crust is the leaking coolant that was seeping and drying.

A new water pump got this car back on the road again.
