NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be held in the Town of Corte Madera, County of Marin, State of California, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the purpose of electing two (2) members to the Town Council of the Town of Corte Madera, each to serve for the full term of four (4) years.
Candidates for the Corte Madera Town Council shall file nomination papers with the Corte Madera Town Clerk between 8:30AM, Monday, July 15, 2024, and 12:00PM, Friday, August 9, 2024. Should any incumbent with an expiring term decide not file during this period, the filing period will remain open through 4:00PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 for nonincumbents only. Registered voters who reside within Town limits are eligible to run for Town Council. If you would like to check to see if you are currently registered to vote, you may do so here. Please schedule an appointment to review and receive elections material. Nomination paper, candidate binder, required forms and related election materials will be available in the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall, 300 Tamalpais Drive, Corte Madera throughout the nomination period. Applications are available on the Town's website and submitting an application in advance of your appointment will start the process to verify current voter registration status with the Elections Department.
