Role Description This is a part-time, on-site to customer.
Auto Detailer / Brand Ambassador role based in Corning, NY. The role involves performing interior and exterior vehicle detailing, including washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing, and applying protective treatments according to company standards. The Auto Detailer / Brand Ambassador will detail vehicles, interact with customers, explain services, answer questions, and ensure a positive service experience that reflects the company’s values, and of course, book more appointments. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and maintaining equipment and supplies, following safety and cleanliness protocols, documenting completed work, and supporting scheduling or basic administrative tasks as needed. The role also includes representing the brand in a professional manner, maintaining a neat appearance, and helping promote services through excellent customer service and word-of-mouth referrals.
Qualifications
Ability to perform hands-on vehicle detailing tasks, including thorough cleaning of interiors and exteriors, with strong attention to detail and quality.
Customer service skills to communicate clearly, handle questions, and create a positive experience while serving as a brand representative.
Basic time management and organization skills to manage multiple jobs, follow schedules, and maintain equipment and supplies in good order.
Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Corning, NY, and willingness to work in varying weather conditions in an on-site setting.
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment and supplies throughout the workday.
Commitment to safety practices, proper use of cleaning products, and respect for customer vehicles and property.
Prior experience in auto detailing, car wash, or related vehicle care services is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; openness to learning, strong work ethic, and a professional, courteous attitude are essential.
