❄️ Cold Weather Vehicle Preparedness ❄️
Winter doesn’t play nice and neither do cold starts, icy roads, or surprise snowstorms. A little prep now can save you a BIG headache later.

Cold Weather Prep Checklist:
✔️ Battery – Cold temps reduce battery power. If yours is weak, winter will expose it fast.
✔️ Tires – Check pressure weekly (tires lose around 1 PSI for every 10°F drop). Make sure the tread is solid and consider winter tires for extra traction.
✔️ Fluids – Use winter rated washer fluid and make sure the tank is full in case you're travelling and have to use more fluid than normal.
✔️ Visibility – Replace old wiper blades and make sure your heater & defroster are working properly.
✔️ Fuel – Keep your tank at least half-full to help prevent fuel line freezing and prepare for longer idling if needed.
✔️ Emergency Kit – Blankets, ice scraper, jumper cables, flashlight, and snacks can be a lifesaver if you find yourself stranded.

Cold Weather Driving Tips:
• Let your car idle for 30–60 seconds before driving. Long warmups aren’t needed for modern vehicles.
• Avoid driving in extreme conditions when possible.
• Parking outside? Lift your wiper blades or put them in service mode to keep them from freezing to the windshield.
