The September 5 event will now be paired with our fireworks celebration for an action-packed night at the speedway.

Friday Night Drags are STILL A GO tonight at Coos Bay Speedway!

The weather may have been a little wet, but we're ready to fire things up and get some cars down the 1/8-mile strip. Grab your friends and family and come spend your Friday night with us.

We do have one important request: Please be respectful of the facility and stay on the gravel and paved roads when entering and leaving the property. Our racers work hard to keep their cars clean and safe, and mud tracked onto the racing surface can create problems for everyone.

Let's work together to keep the track in great shape and enjoy a fun night of racing. See you at the speedway!

The Tidal Wave 50 has officially moved to a new date!

After reviewing schedules, we recognized that many of the Street Stock teams we were hoping to have at Coos Bay Speedway were already committed to competing in the Iron Giant event on our original date. Our goal with the Tidal Wave 50 has always been simple — put as many quality Street Stocks on the track as possible and deliver the best racing experience for our fans and racers.

With that in mind, we have made the decision to move the Tidal Wave 50 to Saturday, September 5th.

The move also creates an even bigger night by pairing the Tidal Wave 50 with one of our fan-favorite events of the season — Fireworks Night at Coos Bay Speedway!

We appreciate everyone's understanding as we work to build the strongest possible field of cars and create a can't-miss event featuring hard racing, a packed pit area, and an incredible night of entertainment.

Mark your calendars:

Myrtle Wood Wallys On The Dragstrip May 29-31

This weekend the action returns to the 1/8-mile drag strip at Coos Bay Speedway as racers battle for one of the most unique prizes of the season — the annual Myrtle Wood Wally event.

Drivers will compete all weekend with custom-made Myrtle Wood trophies on the line. The excitement builds as the winners from Saturday’s ET Summit Series race will return to face Sunday’s winners in an afternoon runoff showdown to determine who takes home the coveted Myrtle Wood Wally trophies as we close out the weekend of drag racing.

The weekend gets started Friday night as we light up the strip with Street Drags and NHRA Test & Tune from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Whether you're bringing your own ride down the track or just coming out to watch the action, Friday night always delivers a great way to kick off the weekend.

Spend the weekend with us enjoying fast cars, competitive racing, great food, cold drinks, and a full beer garden available all weekend long. Gather your family and friends and make plans now to head to Coos Bay Speedway for a full weekend of drag racing excitement.
