Work commute! What’s your commute like? Today i’m taking a boat to go repower 2 boats ina boat or plane access only community. Evinrude 60 to a Yamaha F70 with a extension kit. Twin Yamaha F100 to twin Yamaha VF90.

no start condition during winter. Yamaha F225 crank no start, no fuel pressure, had power to the fuel pump. Removed intake and VST in the harbor. Open up the VST and found the fuel pump had gone bad. installed another fuel pump and had the Outboard back in action.

Yamaha 9.9 with bad control cables. They go inside the cabin behind the counter and fridge just to go back out to the rear station control. A lot of extra removal of interior to change the cables. Work is work, but bad design makes it take longer than it needs to be.

Sloppy steering on your boat? More than likely air in your hydraulic system. This is the best way to blend the air out. Fix any leaks then bled it with the power purge jr.

Damaged outboard! Customer was transporting with his forklift and the chain slid off the forks. He was bringing it to me for a running issue, now there’s lots more to fix!

Inside look at the crankcase and counter balancer. Yamaha F150 counter balancer was whinning and that’s a good time to remove and replace or remove and delete. I generally just install a new one.

Counterbalance whine. oh a Yamaha F150 or in-line F200 if you hear this, it is time to change your counter balancer. The longer you wait the higher chance of having to replace the powerhead due to oil starvation. Nylon gear breaks into pieces or shreds and get sucked up into the oil pick up screen. Get your checked out today!

Stator failed on this Yamaha F115 and it wouldn’t charge the battery anymore. Removed the flywheel and old stator and installed a new OEM stator. Cleaned the crank taper and flywheel then installed and torqued to spec. Now it’s charging the battery again.

Does your 4 stroke smoke like this? If so time for a new one. This yamaha F300 broke a ring and started smoking like crazy from burning oil.
