More Information: The 5th annual Christmas in Conyngham Classic 5K race and 1-mile fun walk will once again kick-off Conyngham's Christmas in Conyngham celebration on Saturday, December 7, 2019, with a 9:00AM start. The 5K will tour through historic Conyngham, starting and finishing at the John & Ruth Gould Recreation Center on Gould's Way, located just off of Main Street, Conyngham. (C.V.C.O Recreation Center). Scenic, wheel-measured with hills, fluid station, expert timing, and traffic control. Parking available at the C.V.C.O recreation center and Whispering Willows Park, adjacent. Car pool is encouraged! Wear your best holiday apparel as we help to kick-off the Christmas in Conyngham celebration! Again for 2019: awards for the five most "runderfully" dressed! Bring the entire family to watch the race, shop local small-business vendors afterwards at the Christmas in Conyngham celebration (following at Whispering Whillows Park), enjoy great food at local businesses, watch the tree lighting ceremony, see Santa's reindeer, enjoy performances by local dance studios and high school bands, and watch an amazing parade- complete with the arrival of Santa himself!
