These 997 911 GT3 lug nuts/bolts called for sand blasting to remove the rust and a matching gloss black powder coat.

Understandably, some may ask:
The sockets fit still fit
There was no chipping after being torqued down.

This is the same 997 recently featured on my page. After seeing the finished product for the body and taking it on a drive, the owner, Dave, decided he wanted the wheels and calipers prepped and coated as well. I mentioned addressing the lugs (as you can see in the before shot) as they were unsightly. The rest is history.

Everything you see on this 23,000 mile 997.1 911 4S bumper is wrapped with PPF. All of it is custom wrapped with inlays where reliefs are otherwise necessary. All seams are beautifully matched. It's my version of the best I've got in me.

Clearly, I don't post work much anymore. I suppose being low volume and hands-on with every step of every project has its benefits. Energy goes to where it matters most.

12,000 miles were on this M2 when it arrived. "Extensive decon" is an understatement regarding the amount of prep necessary for a clean full body ppf wrap once a car is no longer *new*.

Both edges shown here are wrapped. Only the tail light had to be removed.

Protecting the value of a new vehicle is interesting in its own way, but there’s something special about bringing value—and aesthetic appeal—back to a vehicle someone loves. In my experience, the most underrated part of restorative detailing is how it reignites someone's passion when they themselves are maintaining it. Gone are the days of cleaning it up just because "it’s what I’m supposed to do." In comes a new therapeutic sense of satisfaction through their maintenance process because the car and surfaces are more deserving of the effort. That dopamine drip hits differently when you’re protecting something valuable that's revived and not just getting dirt off of it. Now that I've got my pompous waxing poetic fix squared away... 😂
