When is the last time you've checked your oil? The 7th graders at Connersville Middle School were treated to a lesson on car maintenance last week. Charlie Gough, of Gough's Auto Care & Tire Center, showed the students how to change a tire, what to look for on tire wear and tear, how to check your oil, the importance of car maintenance and the career opportunities in the field. Thanks Charlie - the students loved your presentation!

At The Link, we’ve been doing a little more than just Driver Education! We’re helping to foster career education with our youth by coordinating guest speakers at the Connersville Middle School.

Audra McGuire of Wolverine Worldwide visited the Connersville Middle School 8th grade College and Career Readiness class a couple of weeks ago. She inspired the students to be their true authentic self as they research future careers. She also gave them an incredible overview of her career path journey and a snapshot of Wolverine Worldwide. Plus - she left 5 students with a gift beyond measure.
