Happy National Boss' Day
We here at MHC Kenworth-Concord would like you to meet our Leaders. What is a leader you may ask? A leader is anyone, regardless of a formal title or position, who influences, inspires, and guides individuals or a team toward a shared goal or outcome. Come with us as we meet the Leaders here at MHC Kenworth-Concord; pictured from left to right: Jonathan, Wayne, Austin, and Kyle.

Wayne is the Branch Manager here at MHC Concord. Many on the team have watched Wayne work his way from a Service Technician all the way to Branch Manager in the last few years and feel he is just the fit this branch was looking for and needed. His knowledge in multiple departments, professionalism, and his willingness to hop in and lend a helping hand to every department when they need it are just some of the attributes needed from strong leadership.

Austin is our Parts Manager. Associates that work closely with Austin believe he is a very understanding and patient Parts Manager who also has the fortune of being easy to talk to. He is viewed as caring, and willing to take the time to train and help wherever he is needed. Austin is very knowledgeable and is always willing to share his knowledge with others in the hope of creating a more well-rounded team.

Kyle's title here at MHC Kenworth-Concord is Foreman. Kyle is the type of leader who is willing. He is willing to listen, to learn, to teach, and to help. It does not matter if it may be fellow associates, or customers, he undertakes whatever projects that need assisting and ensures others are taken care of. This is evident in the role and task he has taken on in the service department while the Branch seeks to fill the position of Service Manager.

Jonathan's official title is Sr Parts Sales Specialist. In the time of need Jonathan has temporarily taken on a leadership role in the Body Shop. Many consider him to always possess a positive attitude, while also bringing some fun and excitement to the workplace. One associate was quoted saying ‘be prepared to laugh until you cry” when Jonathan walks into the room. This is not to take away from the hard work he and the Body Shop team have put into offering outstanding work coming out of the shop.

Diesel is expensive. Here are three tips to help you save on fuel right now:

- Use apps such as Open Roads, Upside or Mudflap for discounts
- Minimize engine idling. This burns fuel fast. If you're stopped for more than a few minutes at a time, shut the engine off.
- Optimize your driving habits. Driver slower, use cruise control and avoid rapid acceleration.
