Repair of the Week!

This 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE came into Garry’s Service Center with a large coolant leak.

On these 6-cylinder supercharged engines, coolant leaks are a common concern. Many of the factory coolant components are made of plastic, and over time they can become brittle, crack, or break.

Accessing these components requires removing the supercharger. While we have it apart, we recommend replacing the original plastic components with upgraded aluminum parts.

This helps address the immediate leak while also replacing known failure points with more durable components—hopefully preventing the same issue from happening again down the road.

Fix the problem. Upgrade the weak points. Keep it on the road. 🔧

🔧 Repair of the Week: 3.6L Chrysler

This 3.6L Chrysler came into Garry’s Service Center with a ticking noise coming from the engine.

Our technician removed the valve cover to inspect the source of the noise and found a worn-out lobe on the intake camshaft.

The repair included:
🔧 Replacing the intake camshaft
🔧 Replacing the intake lifters
🔧 Replacing the intake lash adjusters

A ticking noise might not seem like a major concern, but it can be a sign of internal engine wear. Getting it diagnosed early can help prevent a much bigger—and more expensive—repair.

This week we’re highlighting a 2020 Honda Civic that came in for a clutch replacement.

Clutch repairs are a major part of keeping a manual transmission vehicle performing properly. Our technicians got to work replacing the clutch and getting this Civic ready to hit the road again. 🚗💪

🔧Repair of the Week
This 2018 Honda Accord came in with a check engine light and a misfire concern.
Trevor diagnosed the issue and found coolant leaking into the cylinder due to a failed head gasket. Our team replaced the head gasket and got the Accord back on the road. 🚗🔧
This is a known failure on Honda’s 1.5L engine, which is why proper diagnosis is so important when a check engine light or misfire appears.
