100 days is long enough. 💗

Tiki has been waiting 100 days for a home of her own. She loves her toys, has the cutest little Tiki shuffle, and is always happy to see you.

Her toys are packed. Now she just needs someone to take her home. 🐾

Come meet her. Please share.

October is month!

We’re proud to be one of the many shelters celebrating this October. Here at Cabarrus County Animal Shelter, we are partnering with Subaru Concord to find loving homes for local pets in need.

According to the ASPCA®, 5.8 million dogs and cats entered shelters and rescues in 2025, where many wait to find loving homes.

That’s why, as part of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, Subaru Concord is providing our organization with direct funding, through a grant administered by the ASPCA®, to help us cover essential costs for preparing animals for adoption, veterinary expenses, and more.

Thanks to this grant, the adoption fees have been covered for the FIRST 20 DOGS AND 20 CATS adopted in October!

➡️ Take a look at our available animals here: www.cabarruscounty.us/animals

✴️ Appointments are preferred for visitations; walk ins are accommodated but subject to longer wait times.

‼️ An approved application is required prior to any meet and greets, so be sure to get that in before coming to the shelter to reduce your wait time!
