Cool old photo from Lafayette California. The Heliport service was on a regular daily schedule and had stops though out the Bay Area. Only lasted from April 15, 1965, to July 19, 1968. Do to noise complaints.

This '71 Formula Vee followed me home yesterday. Was sold originally from Humphreys VW dealership and Peninsula Auto rebuilt the motor. Father and son project to clean up.
Sat in garage for 10 years.

Now need to find license plate frame. 😆 I know Tony Lopez owns them all 🤣

We will be meeting at 8am and doing a cruise starting at 830am departure from Concord High School.

For all that make the cruise we will be handing out a stack of Nor Cal Vintage VW & Porsche Treffpunkt stickers that mount on the inside of your window. Route still in progress to make sure there are no roads closed.

As of now route will be out through Marsh Creek Rd and Vasco and then through some more back roads. Them end at Cali Craft Brewery in Walnut Creek, CA.

Will update when route is final.

Sorry for late scheduling of a cruise.
