Holy bump stick hell Batman...... I'm gonna need a mani/pedi, hot stone massage, gourmet ketchup dinner at Golden Corral, prescription strength Ibuprofen, intravenous caffeine drip, and pureed meals delivered to my pie hole via CamelBak super-sucker hose. 🫪🤣🤪

Wrapped up a client's Gen I Raptor shock rebuild service with remove and replace service/exercise program thrown in just for fun. 🤪. It's amazing how impactful an additional 1.25" length of the shock can be. In this instance, there's a top hat spacer kit installed, which made the TLG of the shock just enough to require removal of the CV shaft end nut and ensuing wrestling match with the outer stub and knuckle assembly. 😉💪🏼. It wasn't horrible but my body was reminded every few minutes of my ACTUAL age of 56 after my brain tries to convince it that it's 36. The only winner in this battle is my ibuprofen salesman. 🤕

Got them all done, charged, tested, torqued, marked and QC test driven. My client should be more than happy with the results of the service performed at Gecko 4x4 Enterprises .

Saturday night, 'date' night in the Gecko 4x4 Enterprises garage with some neglected Fox 2.0 IFP performance series remote resi bump sticks. Lol. Rare occasion when one shock has both a blown IFP AND a seized shaft. I gave my 'date' some much needed attention and TLC, sending them home all lubed up and refreshed. 💪🏼💥👍🏼🤪

With Colorado Citizens for Canine Welfare – I just made it onto their weekly engagement list by being one of their top engagers! 🎉. I have 4 4-legged members in my K9 circus, all of which are adopted; from My Fairy Dawg Mother in Denver. Well, I started digging into the Fox 3.0 IB live valve series 'crash test dummy' pieces. 🤕. Ouchie!

Seal heads, shafts, piston assembly, shim stacks...

All failed. In the submarine world, they'd be considered

They'll be completely rebuilt, tested (bench not deployed), returned to service and warranty-insured for my client.

Just as a point of reference, these are ~$3000.00 each, new from the OEM. 🫪🫪🫪
