2L performance engine build for Jake Limberg. 10:1 cr pistons, lightened flywheel, balanced rotating assembly.

Head built up last week with port/polish, large valves, bronze guides, Isky springs and Alquati 40/80 cams.

Weber 34 DAT carb on single plane intake manifold. Marelli-Plex block mounted distributor.

Upper coolant pipe from an 1800 Beta Coupe and lower pipe from a 2L FI Zagato. This eliminated the 1979-only cooling system that had thermostat mounted to the water pump (and no longer available.

Shift linkage rod just temporarily set in place as I still need to install new bushings.

Fiat 600 Jolly distributor rebuild. New points/condenser, cap/rotor. Running a 600D cap to have fully insulated leads at the cap. Two of the leads on original 600 cap have no provision for a boot on the wires.

Fiat 600D cylinder head build up for 1959 Fiat 600 Jolly project. The 600D head has larger intake and exhaust valves. Also replacing the teeny-tiny Weber/Tipo 22 IM carb with a rebuilt 26 IM. Along with the block's 1mm overbore, it should add a bit more power to the engine's output.

Remember... even a 3-4 hp increase is a 10-20% jump in power!!!

Performance 2L carb head for Jake Limberg's 1979 Lancia Zagato project. Short block to be built up by next week to mate this head.

Port and polish, 43mm intake/37.5mm exhaust valves, bronze guides, Isky springs and a set of genuine Alquati 40/80 cams and adjustable gears. Fuel will be delivered through a single plane manifold and a Weber 34 DAT carb.

Will be rebuilding the 79's block mounted Marelli-Plex distributor. Engine will be converted away from the one-year-only Rube Goldberg cooling system. (Essentially an 1800cc-style Beta cooling set up.

1959 Fiat 600 Jolly drive train in for rebuild. Discovered the trans had a blown planetary gear which in turn had previously blown a hole in the lower case. I was able to replace both the casevand differential assembly with one from a 600D trans core.

New synchros, diff carrier bearings, seals/gaskets. All bits v***r honedband cleaned.

Bringing a neglected 124 Sport Coupe back to life. Sorting through electrical/lighting and installing a rebuilt performance 1800cc engine with twin Weber 40IDF 13/15 carbs. Transmission also rebuilt. Fresh brake calipers, hoses, master cylinder and compensator.

Getting close to first fire up and tune/balance of carbs and bleeding of cooling system.
