Alright, its decision time for the fake Bandito. This is a real numbers matching, W72, black, 4 speed car with red guts. It is NOT a real Y84 "bandit" with the gold decals and miles of gold pin stripes.

So, leave it a fake bandit (I'm not a big fan of fake) or take it back to factory birth with charcoal/grey/red decals without miles of pin stripes.

What does everything think? Top or bottom?

Would anyone think the ole TT Escalade is running a 220ish/240ish @ .050” / .640”ish lift bump stick? A litt more tuning and we shoukd get a stockish idle, it’s close.

Have you hammered on your GMT900 Escalade and heard a bang on the driver's side floor? Have you increased the output of your Escalade significantly and found the banging now stays active anytime at full throttle driving signficant false knock?

The answer is to replace the stock soft driver's mount with a stiffer GM PPV mount 2587739 and avoid the harshness of a poly-urethane engine mount.
