This 2017 Ford F-250 came into Luke’s Auto after its owner accidentally put regular gasoline in a diesel truck. Unfortunately, this isn’t a simple drain-and-refill situation since the owner drove it for 30 miles.

Because regular gasoline can cause serious damage to a diesel fuel system, this truck needed a complete fuel system replacement, including:

Fuel injectors
Fuel lines
Fuel tank
High-pressure fuel pump
Fuel filters
Low-pressure fuel pump

Our technicians got to work replacing the affected components and getting this F-250 back on the road.

The takeaway: If you accidentally put the wrong fuel in your vehicle, don’t start it! Give us a call and we can help determine the safest next step.

Have you met Jameson & Shawn?

You may recognize them from our Sinclair Road location, where they help lead our team and keep things running day in and day out.

Jameson, our Service Manager, and Shawn, our District Manager, represent so much of what we value at Luke’s Auto: hard work, great character, and a genuine commitment to taking care of our customers and our team.

We’re proud to have them representing Luke’s on our newest billboard at the corner of 161 & Sinclair Road!

This is what dedication and expertise look like.

This truck came in overheating, and our technician traced the issue to a coolant leak on the left turbocharger. To access and properly repair it, our technician had to lift the whole cab!

This is a great example of the thoroughness and skill our technicians bring to every repair. Complex problems require experience, attention to detail, and the willingness to dig deeper to find the real cause.

We’re proud of the team we’ve built and the level of work they’re capable of tackling every day.

We’re proud to share that Luke’s Auto has been named one of Columbus’ Best Places to Work!

Luke Walker started this company with a vision to build more than just a great auto repair shop. He wanted to create a place where people could grow, thrive, and make a difference in our community. This recognition is a reflection of that vision and, most importantly, the incredible people who bring it to life every day.

Our team is truly awesome, and the culture they continue to build together is even better.

A clean-looking car doesn't always mean a healthy car.

Many used vehicles have issues you can't see during a test drive.

That's why we offer Pre-Purchase Inspections. Our technicians check for hidden mechanical problems, previous repairs, and costly issues before you commit.

Don't wait until the check engine light tells you what the seller didn't.
