🌟 Spotlight Sunday! Meet Angela — the Heart & Soul of Our Rolling Adventure! 🌟
If you’ve ever wondered who keeps this whole RV dream rolling (and rolling smoothly), meet Angela — the heart, soul, and creative spark behind our mobile RV business and our life on the road. 💖
Since she was just 3 years old (basically since she could say “let’s go camping!”), Angela dreamed of traveling the country by RV. From tent camping to travel trailers, and camping trips with her grandparents’ truck camper — adventure has always been her happy place. 🏕️✨
About 5 years ago, she bought our very first RV to escape the fishbowl of a standard sticks-and-bricks house. (Fun fact: that first RV still sits at our home base in New Hampshire! 🏡)
Four years ago, we hit the road full-time — trading routine for open highways, campfire nights, and new state lines (Indiana just made #25! 🎉).
John jokes that after 25 years of “Army-style voluntold camping” in not-so-glamorous places, he never thought he’d sign up for more — but for Angela, he’d do just about anything. ❤️
Angela wears a lot of hats (and occasionally a headlamp 😆):
🗺️ Chief Navigator & Schedule Keeper
🍳 Meal Planner & Camp Chef
📸 Social Media Creator & Memory Maker
🔧 Half of our inspection team & John’s best “find me that tool” assistant
🎨 Artist, crocheter, and even a cookbook writer!
She’s a sucker for an epic sunrise or sunset, and she’s always the one finding the next must-see stop or local adventure. 🌅
👉 Drop a ❤️ in the comments if you can relate to being (or loving) the planner, navigator, or dreamer of your RV adventures!

❄️🚐💨 “Can I run my RV A/C while driving?” – the million-dollar road trip question!
The short answer: YES… with the right setup.
👉 If you’ve got an onboard generator, you can keep those cool breezes flowing.
👉 Got a robust solar + inverter system? That can work too, though it takes some serious wattage.
When shouldn’t you run the A/C while driving?
⚡ If you’re relying only on your engine’s alternator—it’s just not built for that kind of load.
⚡ If you’re pushing your system too hard—you don’t want to overheat your generator before you do!
So, whether you’re chasing sunshine in Arizona or humidity in Florida, the key is knowing your RV’s power options. Sometimes rolling with the windows down and hair flying is part of the adventure—but other times, A/C is the real MVP. 😎
✨ Pro tip: A quick inspection can tell you if your setup is road-trip-ready or if it’s time for an upgrade. We’re here to help keep you cool, on and off the road!

🚐✨ Travel & Tow Thursday Tip! ✨🚐
Did you know your RV likes to travel on the level side of life? Keeping your rig level while towing isn’t just about looking straight and classy rolling down the highway—there are some serious reasons too:
🔧 Absorption fridges – These cooling champs depend on being level to keep fluids flowing properly. Tow too far off-level, and you could cause permanent damage (and no one wants warm milk or melted ice cream on the road trip!).
🛠️ Frame stress – An unlevel tow means your RV frame is flexing in ways it shouldn’t, which can lead to cracks, leaks, and repairs that hit harder than a pothole.
🛏️ Comfort & Safety – A balanced RV tows smoother, brakes safer, and gives you peace of mind. Plus, when you arrive at camp, you won’t feel like you’re climbing a mountain just to get to the bathroom. 😉
👉 So before you hit the road, double-check your hitch height and make sure you’re towing level—it’s a small step that saves big headaches later!

🚐🔧 Maintenance Monday Tip!
When’s the last time you checked on your spare tire? 👀
(Yeah… that lonely guy hiding under your rig or on the back bumper!)
✅ Give it a pressure check at least once a year.
✅ Look for cracks or signs of age.
✅ Remember—per DOT, spare tires should be replaced every 5–7 years, even if they look like they’ve never touched the road. (Sorry, tread depth doesn’t get a vote on this one!)
Because let’s be honest—when you need that spare, you really need it. And the only thing worse than a flat tire… is a flat spare! 😅
👉 Show your spare some love this week—it might just return the favor when you least expect it.

🐾 Spotlight Sunday: Life on the Road with Liberty & Justice! 🐾
Wherever our RV rolls, you’ll find our co-pilots right beside us—Liberty Bell (aka Libby Lou, our German Shepherd) and Justice Harper (aka Jussy, a golden/lab/Newfoundland/spaniel mix).
These two have logged more miles than most humans—over 25 states and counting! Their days are filled with long walks, the occasional off-leash ball chase (always safe & rule-abiding!), sticking their noses out the window to catch all the smells, and celebrating with “treats” like ice cubes or animal crackers.
When we’re away on longer inspection days, we keep them comfy with a radio humming in the background, peanut butter-filled bones, and our weather station monitoring temps to keep everyone safe.
✨ Fun fact: Libby was the dog John always dreamed of, and once he retired from the Army, he finally had the time to raise her right. Justice, on the other hand, is our sweet rescue girl—one of 104 pups saved at just 11 days old. She’s a mini-me of our beloved Lucy, a rescue Newfie/St. Bernard mix who will always hold a piece of our hearts.
RV life wouldn’t be complete without these two tail-wagging travel buddies. They keep every mile brighter and every adventure sweeter.
🐶 Do you RV with pets? Drop your best tip (or your furry co-pilot’s name!) in the comments—we’d love to hear your adventures, too.

One of our favorite parts of staying in a Corps of Engineers park? They’re almost always on the water. 🌊
The #1 thing Angela misses from sticks & bricks living is our old double-decker pontoon boat—the one that held countless sunsets, laughter, and slow summer floats. There’s just something about water that pulls you in. 💙
And did you know there’s actual science behind it? Studies show that looking at water for just 20 minutes can lower stress levels. No wonder we feel so at peace when we park lakeside.
Sometimes it’s not about chasing miles, but about finding those moments that reset your soul. 💫
👉 Where’s your favorite waterfront spot to relax and recharge?

🔥 Safety Saturday Tip: Campfire Safety 🔥
Campfires are one of the best parts of RV life — but only when they’re done safely! This weekend we ran into a situation where our campsite fire pit was just a few feet from our RV and right under a dry tree. That’s a recipe for disaster. Instead of risking it, we opted to use the vacant next campsite’s fire ring (with permission) so we could enjoy the fire at a safe distance.
👉 Here are a few things to keep in mind before you strike that match:
✅ Keep fires at least 15 feet from your RV, vehicles, and awnings.
✅ Watch out for low-hanging branches, dry brush, or anything that could spark up.
✅ Never leave a fire unattended.
✅ Always have water or a fire extinguisher close by.
Campfires should warm your heart, not your RV! Stay safe, enjoy those s’mores, and keep the flames where they belong.
