📸 THROWBACK THURSDAY! 🚗❤️

It's always fun to look back and remember where it all started!

McQueen Tire & Auto started out in Hilliard in 2020 in a small, one-bay shop with a single owner/operator. Before long, we grew to include our first employee!

Then came 2025! A new chapter, a new, larger location, and an amazing team of four!

Today, we're proud to be serving our customers right here in Clintonville.

It's been quite a journey, filled with hard work, familiar faces, wonderful customers, and so many memories along the way.

We're proud of how far we've come, but we'll never forget where we started!

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who has supported us, trusted us with your vehicles, and been part of our journey. We wouldn't be here without you!

We'd love to hear your memories in the comments! 👇

🔧🚗 3.6L Pentastar Oil Leak Repair

A customer recently came in with oil leaking down the transmission and leaving spots in their driveway. This is a common issue on the 3.6L Pentastar engine found in many Chrysler and Jeep vehicles.

After diagnosing the leak, we found the source was the factory oil filter housing, which is known to fail over time. Oil from this housing can run down the back of the engine and drip onto the transmission, making it look like a rear main seal leak.

✅ Diagnosed source of leak
✅ Removed the failed housing
✅ Installed an upgraded aluminum oil filter housing
✅ Cleaned the engine and verified the repair

The upgraded aluminum housing is much more durable than the original plastic design and helps prevent this issue from happening again.

If you’re seeing oil in your driveway or oil around the transmission area, it’s a good idea to have it inspected before the leak gets worse.

📅 Schedule your inspection today and keep your engine running leak-free!
