October is Car Care Month, so here's your friendly reminder not to ignore those warning lights and hope they'll magically disappear. 👀

Today's Friday Fuel came from Marco's Pizza! 🍕 ⛽️

Friday Fuel gives us a chance to slow down for a few minutes but the rest of Friday still looks a lot like any other day around HXC — cars on the lifts, engines being built, projects moving forward, and the guys working their way through the day's lineup. 🔧

That's really what Friday Fuel has become for us at HXC Performance & Auto: a quick break together at the end of a busy shop week, a chance to support another local business, and then back to doing what we do.

It's always spooky when tools go missing & we finally figured out where all the 10mm sockets have been going… 🐀🔧

Now that October is here, we're looking for somewhere HXC can get in on a little spooky-season fun outside of the shop! 🎃

Most people never see their car from this angle, but around HXC, getting to the bottom of things is what we do. 🔧

If you're looking for any of the guys around the shop this week, your best bet will be to take a peek in back & look under a lift.

And with Mizzou Homecoming coming up this weekend, there will be plenty more to see (& watch for) around town! 🏈

Saturday means Tailgates, packed parking lots, cars lining the streets, plenty of people on foot & a whole lot more traffic around Columbia than the average weekend.

So while the guys are spending today looking up at cars, this weekend we'll all be keeping our eyes on the road - and probably looking a little harder than usual for somewhere to park. 👀

It's already Friday?!? We may have been quiet this week, but the shop sure wasn't. 🔧

Today's Friday Fuel took a bit of a trek across town to pick up, but it was well worth it! Our lunch came from another local favorite — Murray's, fueling the community since 1985. If you give them a visit, we HIGHLY recommend the Philly Cheesesteak — a shop favorite! 😋

As this is our first post of the week, we wanted to share a few pictures from around the shop and let everyone know we'll be back to our regular posting next week.

Friday Fuel came with a little extra horsepower this week. ⛽️🐴🏎️

Lunch made its way back to the shop while the guys kept things moving, giving us a slightly different backdrop for this week's Friday Fuel picture — a customer's Ferrari 360 Modena that's here for exhaust work.

As always, there was plenty more happening around the shop.

The RB26 we've been sharing has more progress since its last appearance, while a Mustang GT stopped by for a pre-purchase inspection, making a solid Friday lineup to wrap up our week at HXC Performance & Auto!

Cars are designed with a lot of things in mind. Making things easy to reach isn't always one of them. 🫠🔧

Some jobs may have you suspended over the engine bay, while others will have you halfway inside a wheel well. Sometimes you just have to get a little creative to get the job done!

Just another Wednesday at HXC Performance & Auto — getting the job done, no matter what "Mechanic's Yoga" pose it puts us in.

Sometimes the work starts before the car even pulls into the parking lot. 📞

Up front Fox has been helping customers get their appointments on the schedule & coordinate delivery of parts for the work.
Out in the shop, the lifts are staying busy with cars already in the process.
Over by the tire machine, Hans is currently seeing evidence of so many people swearing that they'll only take their tires to him. 🛞

Different customers, different cars, same goal - getting back on the road. If YOU need help, give us a call or stop by and see us, we'll be here 9am to 6pm, Monday - Friday.

And if anyone needs Hans, he'll be by the tire machine for a bit 😅
