We are selling Dusty 🥺😢

95 NAS, Portofino Red, new paint and engine rebuild performed in 2021, third-owner, truck mostly lived in AZ and CO (Garage-kept), minimal rust, 130k miles, excellent condition.

I've owned this truck since 2011 and built Defender Imports around my love for this truck (It's been very well-taken-care-of, all mechanical/electrical works, service is up to date according to LR service manuals, lots of new parts and upgrades). Unfortunately, it's time to sell, so I can build a 130 to haul the kids and dog.

Posting here for visibility, will be listing it for sale next week, with lots of detailed photos and info. 🤙

The customer said his old LT-77 transmission was crunching into 3rd and 4th gears, so we swapped it for a much better "stumpy" R380 trans from . We also pulled the front fender assemblies and disassembled them in prep for new paint. The best (And propper) way to paint old Defenders is to remove the panels and paint them individually.
.. stay tuned for more photos of the paint process.

Getting corner weights and heights before installing new Fox 2.0 shocks on this Range Rover Classic.

This infamous truck (Named "Roach") belonged to one of our employees before he sold it to our buddy Kevin on the east coast. The truck was properly restored by another buddy Randy and it looks great! Randy is also the owner of another infamous RRC previously owned by (Named "Bumble"). Kevin and Randy shipped the trucks to us for "Out west" storage. Cool to have these two rigs at the shop 🤙.

Seized trailing arm bushing: 1
Hand: 0

Got five stitches after a rusty trailing arm slipped in our 20 ton press while removing the old bushing, and then grenaded. I was holding the trailing arm and the sheer force of the "pop" punctured my hand 😬. Got an x-ray and no broken bones, so hey, back to work.

Fortunately, Matt, our engine builder, is a former Army medic and patched me up before a trip to the urgent care.

Remember this truck? This Italian 90 came through our shop in 2023 after a service member brought it back from an overseas assignment. The vehicle was damaged during its overseas shipment to the US, but after further investigation, we determined that the damage was more than cosmetic, and several issues with the truck existed before it shipped.

The drive line was dangerously out of spec, with a bent trailing arm and a bent upper a-arm in the rear, both rear wheel hubs were leaking and one of the rear drum brakes was seized because of a bad wheel cylinder. The bushings in the pan hard rod were blown and the lower swivel pin in the front passenger swivel ball was sheared off! Resulting in dangerous lateral movement and vibration in the drive line. The front passenger brake caliper had a blown piston seal and the front axle was leaking badly. The speedo cable and the hood latch assembly were also inop.

We sorted out the issues and the truck is now safe to drive 🫡
